Our Mission
Robert F. and Marilyn A. Miller firmly believed that an “education is never wasted.”
They loved the Lord and cherished their Catholic faith. They believed that a solid
education, deeply rooted in Catholic values, would contribute to the formation of an individual
with the potential to make a difference in society.
It is with this hope the Robert F. and Marilyn A. Miller Catholic School Education Foundation
offers tuition assistance to selected students with demonstrated financial need to
attend a Catholic grammar or secondary school within the Archdiocese of Newark, NJ.

A B O U T
The Robert F. and Marilyn A. Miller Catholic School Education Foundation is a 501c3 tax exempt private foundation. It was established in 2016 and to date has awarded over $50,000.
The foundation’s purpose is to provide tuition assistance to students attending a Catholic grammar or high school within the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Newark, NJ. The foundation was established with the firm belief that all children deserve a quality education. As faith-based institutions of learning, Catholic schools not only provide a challenging curriculum, but imbue high moral standards, service to others, and a penchant for social justice, emulating the life of Jesus Christ. Scholarships are based on financial need and are awarded without regard to gender, race, religion, or ethnic background.
Financial need is assessed by review of required documents including recent W2 tax returns, SNAP or welfare benefit letters, and/or unemployment determination letter if applicable. Students must be in good academic standing, currently enrolled in a Catholic School, have never been suspended or seriously reprimanded, and must be endorsed by the school principal. |
